Inline Air Indexing Casting Cooler
Advance offers the die casting industry a unique method of casting cooling. The Die Casting Cooler utilizes ambient shop air to effectively reduce aluminum casting temperatures by 70 to 75% in less than five minutes (12 lbs shot size).
The queuing system provides for in-process storage of six shots for efficient material handling. The casting cooler quietly (less than 84 dba) lowers the part temperature to a suitable level for flash and runner trimming. The system can be manually or automatically operated. The model CC-18-120-O-R is designed to return the cooled casting to the operator for manual trimming.
